  My family and I have been members at WPBC on Lake Anne Plaza in Reston, VA. for years. Everyone is treated as family - because that's who we are. We are the family of God. Our new pastor, Joe Glaze is an inspiring leader. Everyone has been commenting on the excellent sermons that encourage us to move from theory to practice in our Christian walk. We have a great One-Room Sunday school for kids from birth to 12yrs. Our congregation is as diverse as it gets with people of all races, ethnic backgrounds, religious and political backgrounds. We are also welcoming and affirming of LGBT community. Come join us on any Sunday for worship at 11am and then lunch right after!

  I began attending Washington Plaza Baptist Church about 6 months ago because I was looking for a church home for my family. My Kids (ages 10,11) love the children's church and ask me each week if they can go back. That is enough reason for me to go but, there is so much more. I wanted a church where my kids were exposed to people from all different backgrounds. The church is a diverse mix of young and old. Some of the members have been attending since the church opened in 1967! All of the colors in the crayon box are represented and the church has been welcoming of all different walks of life, young, old, gay, straight, black, white and everything in-between. If you are looking for a church that cares more about your walk with Christ than what you what you look like on Sunday morning, this could be your new church home.
